Yes. Metre is built to work as an Apple Watch rest timer for lifting, helping you keep rest between sets consistent and know when it is time to begin again.
Can I use Metre without my phone nearby?
Yes. Metre installs on both iPhone and Apple Watch, but you can run Metre on your watch without your phone nearby.
Do I need both an iPhone and an Apple Watch?
Yes. Metre requires both devices to install and use the app.
Does Metre track rest between sets?
Yes. Rest timing between sets is one of the core jobs Metre is built to handle.
Does Metre track time during my sets?
Yes. Metre is built to help you track time during each set so you can stay in rhythm while you lift.
Can I add more rest time when I need it?
Yes. Metre lets you add or modify time when needed.
Does Metre track workout history?
Yes. Metre helps you look back at your workout history, and workout records are also saved to Apple Health.
Does Metre work with Apple Health?
Yes. Metre saves workout records to Apple Health, and you can view recent and past workouts later in Apple Fitness.
Is Metre available now?
Yes. Metre is available in the App Store now and can be downloaded today.
How is Metre different from broader workout apps?
Metre is currently focused on helping people stay in rhythm while they lift. Our focus right now is building a really great watch app to support people while they train.
Is Metre a full workout tracker or a focused timer for lifting?
Metre is intentionally focused on the workout itself: starting lifts, timing rest between sets, and helping you stay in rhythm on your wrist. It is not trying to be a broad planning or coaching platform.
